Wedg Ave Woodfired
We are a woodfired pizza food trailer based out of South Auckland. We have a specially imported Italian wood fired oven on wheels.
We are a mobile catering company that comes to you at your place of residence, work, markets and events.
Our oven is Valoriani Brand and was specially imported from Italy, it is the only Valoriani Oven in New Zealand (to our best knowledge). The cooking floor of our oven reaches temperatures of 450-500 degree celsius which cook the pizza in just under 90 seconds.
Our food trailer is an open plan with a visible kitchen and the wood fired oven. Our customers get to see the fresh dough being hand stretched, toppings placed and pizzas being cooked in the woodfired oven next to the open fire. We love interacting with our customers as we cook for you.
We make our own dough using specially formulated OO flour and the fresh yeast. Our dough is proofed/aged for a minimum of 36 hours before
use for the best flavour possible. We pride ourselves on using and showcasing fresh New Zealand Ingredients. #support local
