Pablo’s Açaí

Pablo was only 4-5 years old when his father used to take him to the juice bars in his native Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to have Açaí bowls rather than ice cream. "After those regular goes with my dad, I was so hooked up that the kitchen staff let me in and see how an Açaí bowl was done".

Açaí na tigela (Portuguese name for "bowl") is the hit of the menu at juice bars and part of the "carioca" (Rio's local) lifestyle to be enjoyed with family, and friends, especially after a nice day at the beach or after sports.

After moving to New Zealand in 2013, Pablo couldn't leave without Açaí so he went to the source of Açaí, The Amazon in Brazil, and partnered with locals to bring Açaí to Kiwis.

After 8 years of wholesaling Açaí in Aotearoa, he decided to offer Açaí directly to the public and created Pablo's Açaí! From locals to locals!
